The ''Northern Whig'' (from 1919 the ''Northern Whig and Belfast Post'') was a daily regional newspaper in Ireland from 1824 until 1963. It was published in Belfast.〔(National Library of Ireland )〕 Its editorial line was liberal and unionist.〔(What did Churchill really think about Ireland? )〕 Among its most notable editors was Joseph R.
